Abuse comes in different forms; physical abuse, mental abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse.

It may easier to recognise physical damage compared to mental or emotional hurt where the scars are inside rather than left on the body.

Sexual abuse comes in various forms, some of which the perpetrator and the victim do not realise abuse is taking place. In milder form, sexual abuse takes the form of harrassment, such as name calling, teasing, sexual jokes.
